The end of 2024 came along with the end of the WINTHER project. It is now the time to report all the hard work that has been done throughout the 5 years of the project duration. 

On February 4th 2025, we had the pleasure to receive the project officer and the external experts in the final review meeting, which took please at the Technical University of Munich (TUM)  campus in Garching (in the north of the Munich area). With the participation of all project partners, we discussed the project challenges and the main achievements obtained in WINTHER thanks to the support of the H2020 ICT Work Programme. The meeting was followed by an on-site demonstration of F-RSOM at the premises of iThera Medical.

The extension of the work conducted under WINTHER is incredibly extensive, and at the time being, 11 peer-reviewed papers have been published, with several more in preparation. In addition, the route to the successful F-RSOM commercial exploitation has commenced.
