The Webinar “Gaining New Insights into PAD and Diabetes Using Optoacoustic Imaging”, which took place on 28th February 2024 is available on the iThera website and on Youtube.

With the organizational support of iThera Medical, Dr. Angelos Karlas (University Hospital rechts der Isar, Technical University Munich) and Dr. Ulrich Rother (University Hospital Erlangen) presented their respective work on non-invasive optoacoustic imaging biomarkers for intermittent claudication and the correlation of microangiopathy phenotypes with diabetes stage.

As part of the WINTHER project, Dr. Karlas explained how new generation of RSOM technology can be used to assess diabetes disease staging and therapy performance.
